Velvet Other World is a collaboration between Josh Allen and Katrina Pisetti, exploring the realms of figuration, adornment, and opulent narratives spun within their monochromatic charcoal pieces. This partnership, rooted in a shared passion for printmaking cultivated at the Rhode Island School of Design, explores through material ornament the transformative power of costume and the body, crafting ghostly silhouettes that navigate the interplay between concealment and revelation, protection and display.
